Personal Information is anything which enables us to identify you in some way, such as your name and an email address. If you supply such information, we are bound by the Data Protection Act (1998) and the EC Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications to ensure that such information is only used for the purpose for which it was requested and also to ensure that the data is held securely.

We capture personal information about you:

  • when you make a donation online or complete a direct debit form
  • when you order an item from our online shop
  • when you make an event booking
  • when you e-mail a request for information
  • when you register your details with us

If you are receiving any information from Fast Forward and want to be removed from our mailing list, please contact us, telling us your name, address and what type of information you have been receiving.

Aggregate or Summary Information

This information is collected automatically by our system, e.g. number of visitors to the site. This information is used to monitor use of the web site and will not be used to identify you as an individual.

While we strive to keep the information that you supply directly or indirectly secure, please be aware that the Internet is not a fully secure medium.

Fast Forward uses the Virgin Giving charity payment services gateway to securely process your credit/debit card information for any donations made. When you donate you will be redirected to Virgin Giving, a secure third party charity payment site. There you will be prompted to enter the necessary credit/debit card information.

When a donation is made on the Website the transaction is final and not disputable unless unauthorised use of your payment card is proved. If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules.
