Celebrating a Proud Moment: Fast Forward Trustee’s Recognition at National Youth Work Awards

29 June 2026

We are happy to announce that one of our Fast Forward trustee’s Charlotte Bamford’s team, the Toryglen Community Youth Project SCIO, were recognised as finalists for Team of the Year at the National Youth Work Awards 2026 organised by YouthLink Scotland.

The Toryglen Community Youth Project SCIO is a charity that provides safe, inclusive and supportive environments for young people and families. These spaces and opportunities promote growth, social well-being, and education, making a meaningful difference in the community.

Charlotte Bamford joined Fast Forward’s Board in 2025, bringing her significant youth work experience to the organisation. Charlotte has previously worked with Versus Arthritis, Venture Scotland, and volunteers with her local Scout group. Last year, Charlotte was the recipient of the Volunteer Youth Worker of the Year in 2025 for her work at Versus Arthritis. Everyone at Fast Forward is delighted that Charlotte’s commitment was recognised through her Team’s nomination for a Youth Work Award and we are very excited to see what comes next.
