Finalist in the Herald Society Awards 18

Fast Forward is delighted to have been nominated as a Finalist in the prestigious Herald Society Awards 2018.

The Partnership award category recognises outstanding examples of collaboration in the public and voluntary sector.

Fast Forward’s work, along with YouthLink Scotland and Strange Town Theatre, have been shortlisted for the innovative ‘Balisong’ peer theatre production that last year toured across Scotland to audiences of over 12,000 young people.

Written by Jennifer Adam, the play, which is a part of the No Knives Better Lives work supported by Scottish Government funding, has been recommissioned and has recently begun a second tour, doubling the intended audiences across Scotland.

The awards ceremony will take place in Glasgow on 1st November, and Fast Forward wishes all the finalists across the categories the very best of luck.
