Introducing Elise Abson – Shadow Board member

Hi, my name’s Elise and I’m 16 years old. I currently live in the Middle East, having lived there for 7 years, but I’ve been to boarding school in Edinburgh for 5, and absolutely love it here. I adore swimming, going to the gym and reading.

I decided to get involved with the Fast Forward Shadow Board as I find their work vitally important and I really want to give back to the community. I’ve done some charity work before and this is a unique way to help people across Scotland.

Some things I’d like to see the Shadow Board focus on in the coming years would be tackling the youth mental health crisis, as it has only gotten worse during the pandemic, and talking about online sexual harassment.
