Introducing Lauren Campbell – Shadow Board Member

I’m Lauren Campbell, I’m 19 years old, and currently studying primary education at Strathclyde University.

I love being around people (sadly not possible currently) and trying new things. I cannot wait for lockdown to be over so I can get back to this.

The Shadow Board was originally brought to my attention to gain placement hours for university. However, after learning more about it, I found it was an organisation that does a lot of amazing work that really hits close to home so I decided to make the commitment to the Shadow Board.

I think the biggest health issue currently is alcohol and gambling and many are unaware of the possible outcomes these have and aren’t viewed as “risky behaviours” as much as others, therefore overlooked.
