It’s New Year! Happy 2013 everyone!
03 January 2013
The gifts have been opened, the puddings eaten and the wine drunk. Time now for taking down the decorations and for looking at the days, weeks and months ahead. A whole new year is awaiting us!
Ok, ok, I hear you – you have to go back to school or work, loads of things to catch up with and maybe you are even considering stating going to the gym (I know, I’ve eaten too much as well…). However, look at the bright side: it’s a New Year, a year that none has lived yet and that invites you to start again and for the better… it’s time for the New Year Resolutions!
So, why don’t you start volunteering?! Amazing opportunities are awaiting you at Fast Forward! Concrete opportunities to really develop your skills while doing something you will enjoy and absolutely valuable in contributing to the wider community.
“Happy New Year” – this is probably what many of the cards you received and wrote said. And I wish you too a HAPPY New Year.
However, have we asked ourselves what each and every single one of us can do for making this 2013 a happy year for us and those around us? We don’t need to wait tomorrow, another year or another person for making some difference for the better. And you are here, now, reading this blog on the Peer Education Network…have you considered becoming a Peer Educator yourself?
If you are min 16 / max 25 years old, join us at Fast Forward and you will receive the training and support to become a Peer Educator! Or if you are a parent or carer below 30, the Parent Peer Educator project is perfect for you!
Want to hear more about these amazing opportunities?!? Please get in touch with me and you’ll be able to transform your plans for the New Year Resolutions into reality!
Have a truly happy 2013,
Chiara
