Sense: Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll Conference, Holland

Fast Forward have been continuing their relationship with Centrum Maliebaan in Holland and were invited to give a presentation and run a workshop at the SENSE conference in Utrecht. This was a great event for Chief Executive, Alastair MacKinon and I.  We were made very welcome. Alastair gave an excellent presentation about the issues of alcohol and sexual health in young people in Scotland. He also talked about the success of our Integrated Positive Choices (IPC) project which was delivered in partnership with Caledonia Youth in two Edinburgh schools.

After that, the conference split up into various workshops. I was delivering a workshop on activities and games, integrating alcohol and sexual health that I used in the IPC project. It was great fun and everyone who took part left with smiles on their faces.  We had overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, a big thank you to Lily van Neer and her colleagues for inviting us and making us so welcome at such a successful event!
