Heather MacBain

Heather started her career at the age of 16, while still at school, becoming a drama teacher as part of a local community arts programme and a Young Leader with Girl Guiding UK.

After leaving school, Heather studied an undergraduate degree in Marketing at the University of Stirling. In 2014, she moved into education marketing at Edinburgh College, leading the marketing, digital and graphic design team and expanding her qualifications by completing a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional diploma. Heather is now Head of Marketing at The University of Edinburgh, with a focus on student recruitment, marketing and student communications.
