Megan Forrest
Megan Forrest is from Edinburgh and has spent most of her adult life involved with the third sector in some shape or form. She has volunteered and worked in charities of all shapes and sizes, including roles as a Community Worker, Befriender, Playworker and Counsellor, and during the pandemic developing the operations for a grassroots meal-pack delivery service whilst furloughed.
Megan has an HNC in Social Care and a BSc Social Work, working in placements with people with disabilities, young families and with teenagers in care.
She is currently a Programme Coordinator with the Data-Driven Innovation Initiative at the University of Edinburgh, which is a large-scale UK/Scottish Government funded initiative to use data for social change in the Edinburgh and South East Scotland region.
Megan enjoys sharing food with friends, walks in the woods and finding bargains in charity shops.
