Niroshini Kondaswamy Aramvalarthan

Development Officer, Scottish Gambling Education Hub

Originally from India, I bring a global perspective to the team. My passion for public health led me to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Edinburgh. During my studies, I honed strong research skills that will be invaluable in my role as Project Development Officer. Additionally, my dissertation focused on smoking cessation through yoga, demonstrating my interest in finding creative and holistic solutions to public health challenges.

Beyond academics, I’m a lifelong yoga enthusiast, having practiced since a young age. Yoga not only contributes to my own well-being but also fuels my passion for creating healthy environments for young adults. This passion, coupled with my research skills and global perspective, makes me excited to contribute meaningfully to Fast Forward’s impactful projects.

Edinburgh’s charm captured my heart during my studies, and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else after graduation. I look forward to collaborating with the team and becoming an active member of the hub.

Fast Forward’s mission to address risk-taking behaviors in young people deeply resonates with me. Their commitment to tackling this critical issue through innovative projects is truly inspiring.
